It is not that hard to make gold in WoW. By applying some basic gold-making strategies based on the gold economy of World of Warcraft, anyone can make cheap WoW gold quickly and easily without having to grind away for hours at a time.

I’m always amazed while reading other people’s posts on blogs and forums wherein they describe the thumb-breaking methods used to make a few gold coins in WoW. It involves endless grinding. After 8 hours of going through this tedious method you might end up having enough gold coin to pay off your bar bill.

I am not against grinding the occasional mob, but I do it only as part of a larger quest or for obtaining a particular item that I know would sell well on the Auction House. By combining quest with grind, you will level faster and make WoW gold with greater ease. There are many ways to make easy WoW gold than just grinding.

As an example, I created a Gnome alt based on the Warlock class – no particular reason except that I haven’t tried that combination before. I leveled him to 5 in about 30 minutes and trained him in the Mining and Engineering professions – a gathering and crafting profession that compliment each other well. Level 5 is the lowest that players can be trained for a profession. I then ran a route around Dun Morogh and built up a stack of copper which I then auctioned for several gold coins on my server.

Now, the gathering of a stack of copper took me about just 15 minutes, which is equivalent to about 6-8 gold/hour. For a low level character, this basic strategy is a more efficient – and predictable – way of generating gold than trying to grind endless mobs.

To continue with this example, my Gnome alt used his newly acquired gold wisely, bought and sold a number of selected items from the Auction House and soon built up his stash to 25 gold coins and a few silver in loose change! With a few more hours of game play under his belt, my Gnome alt is now level 10 and has a stash of a little over 50 gold coins. But here’s one thing: I have managed to level up his Engineering to 165! This was funded from buying most of the materials from Auction House by careful and artful trading.

So, you don’t have to be a high level player to make gold in WoW. With a good combination of profession and understanding of the Auction House, you can make easy WoW gold at any level.

World of Warcraft is in many perspectives not that different from other massive multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG) but there is a small difference, World of Warcraft characters can choose a profession, they can even choose multiple professions. Like in other MMORPGs, characters are customizable, you can choose many things like races, classes, armor, weapons and much more. But World of Warcraft was the first game where you can choose a profession, like fishing.

Fishing is a, so called, secondary profession, you can't make much gold with it but it is very rewarding in many different ways, You just need to find a fishing zone and start, and you can catch more than just fish. Usually you will catch raw fish which you can eat directly or which can be cooked. Cooked fish often will provide you with useful effects when you eat it. but you can also catch herbs, gems, equipment and fish related items. Some of these items you can sell because they are valuable for spell casters and others like the fishing items are just very useful to have around.

And we almost forget the most important part, fishing is very fun to learn, just like in real live you need to spend some time learning to angle, but when you get the hang of right clicking on the bobber when it makes a dip and you catch your first fishes its like playing a mini game in world of warcraft.

Getting started with World of Warcraft Fishing

When you want to start practicing with fishing you need a trainer, you can find them standing near a lake or stream, but you can always ask around if someone can lead you to one. Learning to fish also requires a zone, your teacher will lead you to a good spot to learn. After you have learned all you can learn from your trainer you need to find a fishing pole of your own, poles can be purchased from trade merchants and you can also check the auction houses for them.

Your characters level can be increased when you go fishing at special zones, some zones need a specific level before you can fish there. Then you use certain equipment or lures. You can find this special equipment, gifts and bonuses in schools of fish.

Every Sunday there is a tournament which is named "the Stranglehorn Fishing Extravaganza", the goal of this tournament is to search for schools of Tastyfish. These can be sold for silver, and you can also catch some other rare fish in the Tastyfish schools, this is an addition to the prizes that are available for the fishers of the Stranglehorn Fishing Extravaganza. The players lure needs to land exactly inside the school of fish to catch a one. The first player who catches 40 Tastyfish wins the tournament.

World of Warcraft Fishing is a wonderful profession, its fun, not to difficult, relaxing and challenging. You should have fish to eat so you can increase your health and also gain some other extra points.

In World of Warcraft you can customize you character exactly the way you would like it to be. Then it should not be a surprise to anyone that often the characters in this game are a reflection of the players behind them. One of the nice things is also that you can let your character have a profession and one of the options you have is become a fisherman in World of Warcraft fishing zones. Other online games don't offer the option of professions.

The basic of professions

- Every class or race can choose a profession
- Professions, also known as skills are something you learn over time
- At some point you will find that having a profession will be worth it all

There are basically two kinds of professions and these are production and collecting. You character in World of Warcraft can have two primary ones and the remaining skills as secondary. Most people have fishing as, not thought of, secondary skill. The thins is that fishing is of course good as a food supplier for you character and could be complementing other professions like cooking and could even generate some income without any risk on your part. You just need to find some of the better World of Warcraft fishing zones that you can fish in with your level.

In these fishing places you will find more then only fish. Things like gems, chests, herbs and other items. Some will be just nice to have around but there could be some that are reagents that are used by spell casters.

The practise

You will need a special trainer and a fishing pole when you want to learn fishing. You can buy a fishing pole at a general trade vendor. As time progresses your characters fishing skill will improve and it will keep increasing while you keep fishing and start to catch more and more fish. For some of the fishing zones you need a specific level before you can fish in it.

Let's look at some examples.

Characters with fishing skill 1 - 70 can fish in the zones:

Azuremyst Isle
Mulgore
Dun Morogh
Elwynn Forest
Eversong Woods
Tirisfal Glades
Teldrassil
Durotar

On the other hand for the following zones you will need a fishing skill of at least 355:

Terokkar Forest
Zangarmarsh West (Marshlight Lake, Sporewind Lake, Serpent Lake)

So you see that each zone you want to fish in has it's own base skill level that is needed before you can start fishing in them. If you start fishing in them but don't have the right level yet you will be told you can not do so the moment you start your first cast in that zone. Another thing that is not told in the World of Warcraft is that when your skill level is lower then the base skill of the zone plus 95 points you will see that some of the fish get away, you will see the bobber splash but no fishes are on the hook. An example would be that the base level of the zone would be 30 and you have fishing skill 40 then you are allowed to fish there. Only the level you have is lower then 30+95=125 so some of the fish will get away.
So have fun being a fisherman and consider having it as your primary profession and don't pass that World of Warcraft fishing zone.

If you are reading this, you already know what World of Warcraft (otherwise known as WoW) is, and why it is so important to have gold in World of Warcraft. You use it to buy everything, and without it, there is limited to no fun in the game! It can be a challenge to acquire gold, but once you get the hang of it, it's actually quite easy.

Following are some of the most important things you can do in World of Warcraft to ensure you will be absolutely overflowing with gold and the envy of every player you encounter!

WoW Gold Tips:

Tip 1) Even when you enter World of Warcraft as a level 1, get bags. All that you can carry. If you have a high level character already, buy the biggest bags you can and send them to your new character. This is a simple and easy to understand step that most people fail to use!

If you have all 4 bag slots filled up right away, you can:

A)continue questing without having to return to sell off items so you will level faster .

Tip 2) Even though crafting professions (Leatherworking, jewelcrafting, tailoring and blacksmithing) are temping to pick up, avoid them like the plague!

Then, SELL THE LOOT YOU GET! The Auction House is always alive with activity and buyers trying to get their hands on leather, ore and herbs. *The above alone is one of the greatest techniques there is to massive gold earning! Seriously... try it.

Tip 3) Ties closely to the previous tip, but often overlooked as well. This tip can alone can also earn you substantial gold income in World of Warcraft.

Now, enchanting is often seen as a crafting skill stated above, you want to avoid these, right? Well, not when it comes to enchanting! You just won't use enchanting to Enchant! "Huh?" It's simple... think about it.

As you know, when you get a rare drop in the world, you can disenchant it and get the dust or diamond used in enchanting out of it. Instead of using these to enchant your own items or others items, SELL THEM ON THE AUCTION HOUSE!
